Through the use of Non-GDP metrics, this project is dedicated to designing services for community centers that cater to the physical and mental wellbeing of both healthy and sub-healthy elderly individuals, whilst also fostering social participation, bolstering interpersonal relationships, and diminishing the prevalence of elderly depression. By means of a diversified service design approach, this initiative aims to promote government welfare policies and service referrals, as well as to explore the significance of life for the elderly, establish a social safety net, and ultimately achieve a Taiwan long-term care service model that is beneficial to all.

 

     With a focus on preventing and successfully attracting community center participants, identifying local needs, and creating meaningful value, this endeavor is a touching testament to the immeasurable non-GDP indicators that truly matter in life, such as community cohesion, happiness, positive energy, and the meaning of life itself. By adopting a localized service mindset, this project not only seeks to reduce the burden on Taiwan's national health insurance but also aims to promote the sustainable development of a Taiwan long-term care society that benefits all.
