Grandetex Development Co., Ltd. partners with Rotary International to Strengthen Public Health in Changhua County, Taiwan
As Taiwan confronts rising healthcare challenges—population aging, chronic illness, and unequal access to medical services—Grandetex Development Co., Ltd. has taken concrete action to support rural health through strategic cross-sector collaboration.
Marking its 15th anniversary, Grandetex reaffirmed its commitment to corporate social responsibility by donating a Mobile Health Outreach Vehicle and an automated fundus camera to the Changhua County Public Health Bureau. This initiative, designed in partnership with Rotary International District 3482 and 'Altruistic⁺ Social Enterprise', enhances diabetic retinopathy screening and early-stage prevention efforts in underserved communities.
Rooted in local needs assessments, the project offers a practical solution to rural healthcare service gaps. It aligns with Taiwan’s national health goals and reflects the 2024–25 Rotary International theme, “The Magic of Rotary,” which highlights the power of small, collective actions in driving societal change.
The Changhua County Public Health Bureau, led by Director Yeh Yen-Po, expressed sincere gratitude to Grandetex and its partners for their role in expanding outreach and early intervention programs, especially for vulnerable populations. The initiative empowers the county to strengthen health equity, community screening, and chronic disease prevention.
