Global Environmental Protection and sustainable development are currently the mainstream international topics. Green sustainability generates the development between the environment, economy, and social interaction in urban and rural areas. 30 Entrepreneurs have joined together to donate a "Mobile Compost Tumbler Sieve" to the "Father Yves Moal Foundation" in Hualien County to support Father Yves Moal and his team in achieving local environmental protection and circular utilization benefits, and together creating a friendly and benevolent environmental concept for Taiwanese society.

 

     Since 2018, the Yuli Catholic Church in Hualien has established a food waste composting program and started to collect food waste for composting to facilitate land reuse. From June 2020 until now, 383 tons of food waste have been collected and used for composting. However, the lack of funding and manpower has caused difficulties in the process. This donation of a "donate a "Mobile Compost Tumbler Sieve" will provide food waste with another opportunity for reuse, allowing food waste to be quickly decomposed and purified for efficient soil and crop fertilization, reducing manpower and environmental protection through circular utilization.

 

     The inspiration for this act of love and donation was sparked by a visit from the "ALTRUISTIC+ Social Enterprise" team to Father Yves Moal, where they were deeply moved by his unwavering dedication to preserving Taiwan's precious land. The simple yet impactful concept was met with an outpouring of support and enthusiasm from passionate entrepreneurs, eager to make a positive difference in the world. "Uni-Recycling, Taiwan", the Mobile Compost Tumbler Sieve company, also joined the donation, enabling excess funds to be donated to the foundation to help individuals with disabilities and rehabilitation potential. This donation reflects the kind intentions of entrepreneurs towards Taiwan's land and has achieved effective practice in green future and environmental sustainability.

 

     We thank Father Yves Moal for his selfless dedication to Taiwan and the entrepreneurs who, with their surplus resources, strive to leave a positive impact on this land and its people. We also want to express our gratitude, especially to Teacher Huang, for the support provided during our years of back-and-forth stationing in Hualien, Taiwan. We fondly remember your words of wisdom: "Do not chase sparks, pursue the truth. Do not fear pain; perseverance and determination will make you grow." Throughout our journey, these cherished moments are engraved in our hearts, sometimes, the fundamentals are the most challenging. With everything rooted in the source of love, we have sown the seeds of goodness, and we will undoubtedly continue moving forward!
